Welcome to the Society for Tropical Veterinary Medicine (STVM)!

The STVM was founded in 1978 and is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing tropical veterinary medicine, hygiene and related disciplines across the globe. Our society brings together veterinarians, researchers, and professionals who are passionate about improving animal health in the tropics.

We are pleased to announce that the 16th Biennial Meeting of the STVM will take place in June in Trinidad, organised as the 4th Joint AITVM–STVM Conference under the theme “Resilient Futures in Tropical Veterinary Medicine.” The meeting will feature an outstanding line-up of internationally recognised speakers; further details can be found under 'Upcoming Events'.
