The 11th Biennial Conference of the Society for Tropical Veterinary Medicine (STVM) and the final meeting of the EU-funded project Arbo-Zoonet will be held jointly from September 19 to 22 in Orvieto, Italy.
Together with our collaborating parties, PiroVac, CCHfever, Postick and the Italian Society for Virology (ISV) we would like to invite you to join a conference covering scientific topics on disease risks and challenges - both for animals and for humans - brought by viral, bacterial and parasitic pathogens. Seperate sessions are planned to include topics such as control measures, co-infections and vector-borne diseases.
The conference aims to promote discussion between scientists, practitioners and decision makers from various fields as well as to update researchers, academics, governmental and non-governmental organization representatives, technicians, veterinarians and other professionals from the industry sector interested in emerging and re-emerging epidemics affecting global health.
Young scientist are especially encouraged to join the conference and present their work during the special session for young scientists. |
